MM everyone!
I mentioned in a post in the Forums that there were reasons for not being around recently..........
When I was finally able to start learning seriously about Wicca (a little under a year ago) I leaned that it is a way of life. The more I learned, the more I wanted it. So I have taken steps to REALLY incorporate it into my life.
At the moment, I go zooming off around the South of England in my very yummy sporty - 'shakin that ass' Megane - company car, encouraging customers to send more and more through direct courier (i.e. one package, one van) to anywhere in the whole country and often Europe. NOT a very environmentally friendly company!!
In any case, sales is not my thing anyway, although the reason I have this job is a very good reason....a friend offered it to me to enable me to take the steps I needed to be able end my not very nice marriage. So for a while now I have been wondering how I can get round this..... I also long to be able to be with my children when they finish school each day, and obviously they do too.
As many of you know, I paint. Well actually I do quite a few other things too!! I make candles, I love making things out of clay, and I discovered something else that I love making too... my wand - I didn’t want it to be finished so I could keep making it! So I have decided to start my own business (mainly encouraged by a friend who started her own business making jewellery).
Ever since the idea came up, things have just been falling into place...I told my sister-in-law and the following day she was on the phone to tell me her mum has a pottery wheel that she doesn’t want any more. Friends and a few people I have met by chance are able and very willing to help me make this happen, so.....................here goes!!!!!!!!!!
I have called it RosesCrystal
Rose because that was my mum’s name, and I’m positive I heard her give me her blessing with this, and crystal because, well I cant get enough of them!!
If you check out www.rosescrystal.co.uk at the moment you will only find a welcome page, but very soon you will see what I do.
The candles I make are pure beeswax. I am going to use sheets of it for this, so I will have a wide range of colours available and I have worked out a range of spell candles too which I will add herbs and incense to when I roll them.
I have started making some wands, which are coming along nicely, I’m not saying too much on that one yet!!
The sort of pottery items will depend a lot on what type of kiln I can get access to until I can afford to buy my own.
Then my paintings will also be on there, along with prints, pastel and charcoal work that I do.
So there you go, that is what is happening to me at the moment, and why I have not been around much lately!
Oh and if you hadn't guessed, I'm a bit excited about it!!!!

i had, too, just recently gotten out of a bad marriage...i know the feeling of wanting to spend more time with your kids....and them with you, but unfortunately, my ex is doing his best to keep them from me...
